Most of the time. I was catching the bus every day to school when I was in Japan last month. It is so different from Australia – paying when you get off instead of when you get on and jamming in like sardines. There is no such thing as a full bus in Japan! 🙂

Haha! Yeah, I noticed the difference between Japan’s and Australia’s bus when I came to Perth 🙂 I hated taking bus in Japan…. coz it gets really packed, just like train.
I don’t know how bus driver checks who pays how much, I don’t think s/he can remember all the passengers.
