Pics from Japan -2
Posted November 5th, 2008 in Japan 10 Comments »These are the photos I took in Hokkaido in 2005. That was a family trip with my parents and brother:) We had never been to Hokkaido before and it was amazing! The food (especially seafood) was so great, I just regret that I didn’t take any photos of food there:p
This is Nakajima Koen (park). I think it looks like these photos now, filled with beautiful red leaves 🙂
Nice pictures! I have been to 北海道 (Hokkaido) twice…once in Winter and once in Summer.
Actually, when I first came to Japan I went to the 雪祭 (Snow Festival) in 札幌 (Sapporo). It was my first time to see snow! (I have seen it many times in Tokyo since then, though).
Hi Tokyo 5.
You’ve been to Hokkaido twice:)
I really really want to see the Snow Festival! It was beautiful, right?
I’m surprised that you’ve never seen snow in America.
Yes, the Sapporo Snow Festival was wonderful (a great way to see snow for the first time!)
I am from the Southern U.S….it doesn’t snow there.
I see…
I wish I could go to see the snow festival this year, but it’s impossible:(
maybe next year, I hope:)
Beautiful photos 🙂 Autumn is a great season to take pictures 🙂
Hi Kitsune
Yes it is. Actually, in Japan you can take wonderful photos all year!
Spring – Sakura
Summer – Beach, Fireworks, Festival
Autumn – Red Trees,
Winter – Snow, Christmas Illumination
Winter is my favorite season 🙂
Me too! I was born on Feb:)
I love playing in the snow, I hope I can see the snow next month in Japan!
Do you get snow in your home?
Oh, I am glad someone else actually likes winter -most people find it too cold and boring. It must be exciting to see snow in Japan 🙂
I lived in various climates in different countries, but at the place where I live now I see plenty of snow. In fact, it snowed this weekend here 🙂
Really? so it must be very cold now 🙂
Ummm you are going to experience white Christmas.. how nice!
I hope I won’t catch cold in Japan:p The temperature here is about 35℃ now, and it will be about 0℃ in Japan. So different…
But I’m more excited to be in Japan in winter:) Beautiful!
