If you know a lot about Indonesia,

……………… Is this true???

” In some parts of Indonesia, a corpse is usually being carried up to the grave, but in Toraja, the corpse is woken up letting it to walk to its grave (is rarely performed anymore)

The corpse is woken up using black magic. This is done because in Toraja the graves/cemetries is placed above limestones mountains.

The corpse walks by itself, and its guided by an expert in black magic behind it. But there is one prohibition, the corpse shouldn’t be appointed, once pointed, the corpse falls down and isn’t able to walk again. ”

    As a chinese indonesian myself, i have heard all kinds of stories with regards to the use of black magic in Indonesia. I honestly have not heard of this one, but i wouldn’t be surprised if such feat can be carried out.

    My husband says the same thing.
    I don’t know, but if it’s true it is really scary….

    Indonesia has many small islands and some places still have very dangerous and scary traditions which are carried out each year (I saw on tv).
    I guess it’s dangerous to travel to such area!

    Well then i am sure you are well informed in this department. Even though its dangerous, there are still things that one can do to prevent such things from happening to you. Funnily enough everyday tabloids are constantly publishing pictures and articles about people getting cursed by black magic, well at least in my hometown of medan in North Sumatra. Although it might be scary at times, on another note, it can be pretty humorous or say funny when u think about how people can have so much time on their hands just working on cursing people, don’t they have better things to do? LOL

    True, they should be thinking something else rather than thinking to curse people…

    .. to think about it, it is scary. Not the black magic, but the people who are believing and doing these things.
