I know some of the Umeboss viewers know about this already, but I would like to announce it here officially….
aa
… I am pregnant …!!  (•˙∆˚)¬¬¬¬
aa
It may be a natural thing to happen to a couple who have been together for more than 7 years, but I still can’t believe it.  I mean, we are absolutely happy about it, but we didn’t really plan it and I still feel that I’m just a girl. (^o^;)>
aa
I wasn’t really sure if it was true – until I got my first ultrasound screen at my 11th week.  There it was!  A tiny fetus, around 6 cm.  S/he was  kicking up the leg, and was jumping around inside my tummy.  Very active…  And, on the second screening, the baby started to wave at us (˙∆˚)!!  … No, I think s/he was just stretching the arm.
aa
It’s amazing.  Did we create a life?
aa
I actually had miscarriage last year, and it was really a devastating experience to me, so I hope this one will be ok. (” v “)

Some Japanese people who live in Perth go back to Japan to give birth, as they can get all the supports from their family and friends.  It is also more comfortable to do such “big event of the life” in their own country.
aa
Me?  I’m going to be giving birth here in Perth.  I really really want my family to be here too, but I don’t know if it’s going to happen!  But, it’s ok, I can’t think about it now.
aa
If everything goes well, I will fly back to Japan afterwards and stay there for few months.  (^^)  It is my plan!!  I also can’t wait to eat sushi and sashimi over there too…

How exciting for you and your husband 🙂
Now I will go back to your Ikea catalogue photo and see if I can tell. Haha!

    Megan,

    Thank you ! (^0^)

I actually covered my belly area with cushion (intentionally!) so you won’t be able to tell, I think 😀

It’s not that big yet, I think. My office people don’t even know about it yet, hehe

Sorry for spilling the beans before 🙁
I hope you have a problem free pregnancy so you can really enjoy it, it is an amazing experience.!

I have had 3 babies here in Japan and I think it is a great place to have a baby. Lots are things are very different from Australia but the doctors in both countries just want to deliver healthy babies. Goodluck for whatever you decide.

Congratulations to your and your husband 🙂

I think whenever a woman says, ‘I have some big news’ it always means she is pregnant!

There seems to be a rush of babies at the moment. On all the blogs I read everyone is having a baby. It’s weird!

    Achan,

Thank you 🙂 So far there is no problem (obstetrician even said “too normal, it’s boring”)
I hope everything is ok until I give birth.

    Kathy,

Haha! Actually, I see many babies and pregnant women everywhere I go. I really think the number of babies are much much bigger here compared with Japan. While I was in Japan I didn’t get to see so many babies there. (that’s why I’m not used to be around babies..)

    Thank you 🙂

    Congratulations Ume! Omedettou!

I guess you are not far along if your workplace doesn’t know. I hope you are feeling ok and not suffering too much morning sickness.

I saw your big post in Japanese on this topic. Was that information for others? Or a question from you? If you do hVe any questions on how our system works here I would be happy to try to answer them.

    Good luck,
    Kath

    Kath,

    Thank you!!

I used to have morning sickness before, but not too bad. Now, it’s much better and can eat anything. I have a huge appetite now 🙂

I’m at my 17th week and I think my belly is getting bigger, but I’m hiding it with big clothes at work :p (maybe they know..)

The post in Japanese was an information for Japanese people who are having babies in Perth (or somewhere else in Australia). Some system here is different from those in Japan.

Thank you, when I have some questions I will write about it on a post. 😀
