Meiji
Posted August 13th, 2009 in Food, Japan, Ume's Interests 4 Comments »Meiji co. has been one of the big sweets/snack/dairy products company in Japan since 1916. I’m sure you’ve seen some of their products before :_)
Everyone tells me that the packaging for Japanese food is very colorful and cute. I agree…
Checking up Japan’s food companies’ websites is fun.:) Even Mcdonald’s, Starbucks, Miter Donuts websites… make me feel hungry! I get excited by just looking at delicious food, and sometimes I find interesting campaign there.
Collaboration products with Meiji Yoghuret x Pokka drink…
Meiji chocolate mirror…
Meiji Xylish gum “Iki-pan-2” campaign…
I like this Xylish gams (lime flavor). I’ll buy few of those and hopefully I win one of these panties :p (actually those are men’s underwear though.. but I don’t mind wearing as a room- wear 🙂 )
Yo U-chan! ^_^
I LOVE Meiji chocolate! I love the dark or bitter stuff they do and I even like their white chocolate and I don’t normally like white chocolate!
I think they have the perfect thickness to their chocolate. It’s quite thin (very thin compared to Australian chocolate) so you get a lot of flavor in a few squares without all the calories.
On a totally different topic, do you know the restaurant Pepper Lunch? They have opened a restaurant on William St in Northbridge called Sizzle Mania which looks like the same thing. They bring you raw food on a super hot metal plate and you cook it how you like it. I love the taste and I’m going to try it this weekend.
I hope it’s as good as Pepper Lunch! ^_^

What! Pepper Lunch opened up in Perth??
I didn’t know that :p I will definitely go there to try 🙂
Thanks for the info ♪
By the way I actually have this Meiji choco mirror… bought it when I was 15 :p
Well it’s not Pepper Lunch… it’s called “Sizzle Mania” but maybe it’ll be as good? I don’t know 😛
You’ve got that Meiji choco mirror?!?! I want it! I’ll trade you your mirror for my Naruto konohakagure hitai ate and my Reiza Ramon HG cel phone charm (slighty used)! ^_^
I think Meiji should make more things that look like their chocolate like calculators, TV remotes, tables and chairs…. so the whole house looks like chocolate!!!

That’s actually a good idea (^0^) The house must look really cute hehe.
If you have chance to go to Japan next time you can easily buy this Meiji mirror yo.
