Easy Oven Roasted Spare Ribs

Very easy!  Just marinate and cook in the oven.  You won’t even need to marinate meat for hours.

< Oven Roasted Spare Ribs >

  • 7~9 spare ribs
  • 1 tbs Worcester sauce
  • 2 tbs tomato sauce
  • 3 tbs soy sauce
  • 3 tbs marmalade jam
  • 1 tbs white wine or sake
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 tsp grated garlic

– Heat up oven to 200

  1. Season ribs with salt and pepper.  Mix all the ingredients in a heat-proof bowl.  Marinate ribs in the sauce and glad wrap, then heat up in the microwave for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place ribs on an oven tray with sauce.  Cook for about 30minuts or until meat is cooked.

* If the meat starts to burn on surface, cover with aluminum foil and let it cook through.

    These sound really yummy!
    What do they taste like?
I don’t like ginger, so I’d probably use more garlic (for X-tra stinky breath!)
I generally use a pre-made marinade from the supermarket, but I think I will try your recipe next time.
I find if you bake the ribs (around 200) until the juices run clear (about 30mins), then baste them again and grill them under a med/high heat, the surface and skin is crispy but the meat is soft and tender! ^_^

    Hi Bishonencam

That sounds really nice! Tender juicy meat is the must 🙂
You can adjust the amount of ginger, of course.
Let me know how it turns out 🙂
